Video and ceramic, 3/2024
My inspiration is from an interesting natural phenomenon-Coanda effect. The balloon doesn't move in the small waterfall and it keeps balance in the water. After that, I recorded a series of videos about this effect. Someone can't step into a river twice. It's relative motion and absolute stillness. I projected the videos on my ceramic piece. I concentrate on the time and space. The treadmill, hair dryer, toilet and river are just a vehicle. Sometimes change is constant.
